Keychange is a pioneering international initiative led by the PRS which transforms the future of music whilst encouraging festivals and music organisations to achieve a 50:50 gender balance for their programs by 2022. Keychange aims to accelerate change and create a better more inclusive music industry for present and future generations.
Decibel has signed on as a signatory and an associate to Keychange, and pledges to:
- Commit to programming of a minimum of 50% women over our 2 year programming cycle.
- Commit to 50% of all commissions will go to women each year.
- Ensure 50% of all guest artists we engage with are women every year.
- Aim to have 50% of our board members being women within the next 4 years.
