For more than 15 years, Decibel has commissioned, performed and recorded new Australian music, working with composers and artists to develop projects that explore sound across acoustic and electronic forms.
As an independent, artist-led ensemble, we rely on the support of our community to realise new work, document it, and share it with audiences locally and internationally.
This End of Financial Year, we’re inviting supporters to help sustain that work through a tax-deductible donation. Every contribution supports the commissioning, performance and recording of new Australian music.
As a thank you, donors can choose from a range of Decibel recordings, publications and digital downloads, or simply donate without receiving a gift.
Thank you gift options include:
- Donations up to $60 receive acknowledgement on our donor page and a digital download of your choice.
- Donations of $60 or more receive a Decibel CD or digital download of your choice.
- Donations of $100 or more receive a Decibel publication of your choice (Drawn from Sound, John Cage or Sounding Art) or a CD/digital download of your choice.
- Donations of $150 or more receive both a publication and a CD/digital download of your choice.
