Decibel visited Japan for the first time in December 2016. Their visit involved a residency and two concerts at Tokyo WonderSite, as well as concerts and talks at Kunitachi College of Music, Tokyo Metropolitian University and ICLA Yamanashi University, Kofu. The main focus of the visit was a collaborative project with Japanese composers Tomoko Nakai, Alexander Sigman, Keitaro Takahashi and Haruka Hirayama. A program was developed featuring works by them and Decibel composers Cat Hope and Lindsay Vickery.
See the program for Chance Figurations here (in Japanese).
